KYC Registration Agency (KRA)

KRA serves as a centralized repository of KYC records in the Indian securities market.

The client who is willing to open an account/trade/deal with a SEBI registered intermediary is required to submit the KYC details through the KYC Registration form and supporting documents. The intermediary performs the initial KYC verification, uploads the details to the KYC Registration Agency (KRA) system and this information becomes accessible to all SEBI-registered intermediaries. This centralized KYC process eliminates the need for clients to repeat the KYC procedure with different intermediaries and ensures seamless access across market participants.
